What we collect

To book and track a car wash, we collect your name, email, phone number, vehicle plate, booking history, and — only with your permission — your device location. We never store your location on our servers; it's used on your device to show nearby washes.

How we use it

Your details are used to create and track bookings, process M-Pesa payments, send you status notifications, and let you chat with the car wash you booked with. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• PayHero — processes M-Pesa payments on our behalf
• Stream — powers in-app chat with car washes
• Turso — hosts our database infrastructure

We don't share your data with anyone else without your consent, except where required by law.

Your rights under the Kenya Data Protection Act

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and vehicles, and strips your name, phone, and plate from past bookings (booking amounts are kept, anonymized, for operator accounting).

Storage

We use your browser's local storage only for your theme preference and app state — not for third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
